Our guidelines, policies, voluntary commitments and exclusions

On 5 January 2022, the Executive Board of IBB and IBB UV adopted sustainability guidelines for the first time, which apply to the entire IBB Group. These guidelines establish a binding standard for the Group and enhance transparency for our stakeholders. They outline the various levels of sustainability (Group perspective, sustainability aspirations, and sustainability implementation), from which the organizational integration within the IBB Group is derived. The guidelines clarify responsibility for sustainability alongside the objectives and measures. Additionally, the guidelines identify our four fields of action, each accompanied by their guiding principles.

All new financing and development projects are screened against our exclusion criteria. The Group-wide exclusion criteria can also be found in the Sustainability Guidelines of the IBB Group.

Our guidelines cover our capital markets business, communications, compliance, charitable giving and our employees, and provide information on our use of resources.
